After all of the months of imagining what my first Vintage Marketplace booth would look like, gathering supplies and creating treasures to sell, the weekend is over. It came in with an exuberant burst of energy and went out with a dreamy sigh and now it’s time to start planning the look and feel of my booth for the next Vintage Marketplace Flea Market in March.

But first, I’ll take you on a tour of my booth!

Prancer, this sweet reindeer, was delivered straight from Santa. Doesn’t he look adorable with his fur collar, pink bow and snowflake bling?  Dressform girl was created by my friend, Julie Weller, using an incredible number of pine boughs, lace, ribbon and rhinestone bling. Together these two garnered quite a lot of attention. People were snapping pictures of them all weekend long!

The tinsel tree was adorned with pink accented top hats, horse show ribbons, silver twirling ballerinas and reproduction vintage glass bird clips.

I stitched up some petite little dresses with lace trim and adorned them with ribbon rosettes.

I felt really bad about altering these Reidel ice skates but after they turned out this beautiful I didn’t feel so bad. They sparkled so much in the sunlight and were just stunning!

This sweet guy was nicknamed Bob and was purchased by a lady who is going to mount him on her wall. I’d love to see a pic of that!

Mary watched over us the first day of the show.

We had a little bit of everything in our booth, from delicate glass vases, to tea sets to cherubs and baby shoes.

I fell in love with these altered baby shoes after I made them pink, and used vintage flowers, a sparkling tree and shiny ornaments.

Another of my favorites was this puppy or kitty (depending on who’s looking!) inside a cloche. Every time I saw this ornament it made me smile!

The Let It Snow typewriter key garland, glittered putz houses and Merry Christmas signs were all big hits at this market.

The vintage horse ribbons gave the tree just the right touch!

This sweet baby fell asleep in the snow under the tree.

The top hats made the perfect toppers for the Christmas trees.

Look at all that sparkle! And, if you’d like to buy a burlap stocking, I have a couple left. Just leave me a note in the comments and I’ll contact you!

The crowned dogs in cloches didn’t last very long, they were among the first things to be sold on both Friday and Saturday mornings.

I adored this sweet wool baby shoe too and got a little bit sad when it was purchased and taken away. I don’t like getting emotionally attached to my creations and I’m going to have to find a way to stop doing that!

The Fruit Picking bag made a wonderful display piece filled with Christmas Tree branches.

The wrought iron gate topper will be making an appearance at the next Vintage Marketplace in March. If you would like to purchase it before then and you’re local to me, please let me know and we can make arrangements.

Thank you so much for joining me on this photo tour!  I hope that you’ll mark March 13-15 on your calendar for the next Vintage Marketplace. The theme is Spring Nesting and I’m looking forward to creating Spring and Easter themed projects for it!
