Shabby Chic Tote Bag

After much consideration I finally finished the tote for my swap partner and I’m absolutely thrilled with the way it turned out. I wish that I could give it to her in person so I could see her reaction. I hope that she loves it as much as I do!

I went with a simple tote pattern from Skip to my Lou and it really was pretty easy to make. I don’t have a lot of room on my craft room table so I ended up tearing the fabric into the right size pieces. This is my favorite way to craft because I’m super lazy and because you’ll always have straight lines.

I created a foof out of vintage lace that I’ve been hoarding forever. It’s hard to part with it but I know that my swap partner will appreciate it! I added some vintage rhinestone bling in the center to give it the perfect finishing touch.

I used fabric from Tim Holtz and I need to get my hands on more!  I can’t get enough of this gorgeousness that’s so perfect for so many projects!

Bag Swap 5

I’ve been looking for these custom labels for days and wouldn’t you know they’ve been right in front of me on my craft table THE WHOLE TIME! This is the first time I’ve used them and it makes me feel so official!
