For some reason I’ve been thinking non-stop about having a cute camera bag. It could be the fact that I’m enrolled in my friend, Cynthia Thompson Shaffer’s, Photography 101 class online and so now I’m thinking about photography even when I’m sleeping!
I’ve found a couple that I just love and thought that I would put them all together and see which one I have to have. Besides being pretty it needs to be super functional as well. My requirements are that it must:
- Securely hold my DSLR and lenses
- Be roomy enough to store some cash and credit cards so I don’t have to carry around two bags
- Have adjustable dividers so it can grow with me
- Have a cross body strap for easy, hands-free carrying
- Have some pockets to store memory cards and business cards
- Be made from a material that’s lightweight yet strong enough to hold up
This gorgeous bag is from Bloom Theory. The TAKE A BOW bag is not only the perfect camera bag for the stylish photographer, it is also suitable as a diaper bag, travel bag, or simply, the bag of your dreams!
This gorgeousness is from Shutter Bag. The Spree comes with a long leather adjustable strap to allow you to wear your bag cross body and it features their signature lens cap pouch.
This beauty is from House of Flynn. This roomy bag comfortably fits a 70-200 lens standing up, even when attached to a camera body. Dual side pockets unzip to reveal individual battery and memory card holders.
What about this mint bag from Shutter Totes on Etsy? The interior camera section is fully padded with coordinating print fabric and is sewn in. The exterior is soft and supple mint vegan faux leather with gold hardware.
And here’s another in Mint from Johansen. The interior features a zippered iPad pocket on one side of the bag and another zippered pocket for your phone and keys on the other side. It also includes four removable pads that attach to the sides and bottom of the bag by means of Velcro, allowing you to fashion your own compartments to accommodate your specific equipment
This one from Kelly Moore Bag is cute and sophisticated. This bag includes a removable and adjustable cross body strap and can fashionably hold your stuff + your children’s, just in case you’re using it for something other than a camera bag.
This teal bag from Jill E designs is a traditional beauty. With room for a full DSLR set-up, it’s the ideal blend of fashion, function and protection.
Need some uptown style? This black beauty, from Kelly Moore, is your bag! This bag has roomy pockets, it’s made of water resistant, man-made materials and it will hold up to a 15″ laptop.
Want something more organic with earthy colors? How about the Bowery Bag from Ona? The Bowery is padded with closed cell foam, designed with top-quality water-resistant waxed canvas and detailed with full-grain leather, antique brass hardware and a secure front closure.
And, if you have a lot of gear, this is the perfect bag for you! The Jack Rolling Camera Satchel from Jill E Designs. With a telescoping handle and heavy duty rollers, this bag makes travel easy.
All of these are great bags with so much functionality. How is a girl ever to decide?
