Happy Tuesday Creative Friends!
First of all, I have to say that after our exciting wedding blog hop over the weekend I am on a HIGH! I’ve never received so many wonderful words of encouragement! All of that love inspires me and makes me want to keep on creating. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!
Today I have a shabby chic inspired wrap bracelet that is perfect for using up those scraps of pretty fabric you might have around. I started off by making my flowers using felt for the base and then twisting and turning the ribbon and fabric and hot-gluing it into place. I added a pearl in the center to make it pretty.
This stunning Rumple Ribbon is called Oh Darling from the “Dinner Party” collection from Lovebug Creations. For only $6.00 for this collection of 12 yards, this ribbon is not only beautiful but it’s a bargain as well!
I used strips of fabric that measured 1″ x 14″ and wrapped them around the leather and tied them in a knot to secure them. You could cover the whole bracelet or leave peeks of leather showing.
I used this adorable fabric called Paris Flea Market.
The leather wrap bracelet is from my friends at Cerdafied Leather.
The final step is to glue the flowers onto the fabric wrapped around the bracelet. I used a drop of tacky glue in the middle and hot glue around the outside to give it a super strong bond. Easy!
If you’d like to purchase one of my bracelets, please visit my Etsy shop!
Now, to reveal the name of the winner of the Ribbon Sliders from Bazzill Basics Paper from the Wedding Blog Hop. The winner is Kathy, with email bqofss (at) yahoo (dot) com. Kathy, please email me at kryztyne @ Gmail.com to claim your prize!
Have a wonderfully creative week!

Christine… I adore this! You know I’m a huge fan of fabric flowers and I love the creative way you applied to this creation. Wrapping scraps of fabric and tying them gives such a bohemian feel! Ahhhhh… my California girl!!! Miss you!
I’m pretty much at a loss for words when it comes to you anymore.. I don’t think I can properly say how FREAKIN’ AWESOME this is… WOW!!! This is gorgeous and soooo different and sooo fun… and just wow… You amaze me! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. when I grow up I wanna be Christine 😉
I’ll go one better than Kimi: When I die and go to heaven, I want to come back to be an angel in Christine’s craft room, sitting in awe as she creates her Heavenly masterpieces. They are truly heaven-sent!
Fondly,
Ellen (CardMonkey)
