LoveBug Creations is pleased to showcase our 2013 Christmas Release products today in this extra festive blog hop.  The Creative Team has worked hard in their holiday workshops to design some stunning projects with these new ribbons. It’s our hope that we will inspire you to create your own “meshy rumple” delights to brighten the lives of those you love.

Now it’s time to show you what I made.

  1. I bought a simple, undecorated votive at the grocery store and wrapped it with a vintage music sheet.
  2. Next, I added a strip of red paper at the top and bottom of the music sheet on the first votive.
  3. Then, I used a red scalloped circle, layered with an aqua scalloped circle and using foam dots placed my angel on top.

I used Mama’s Mesh from the Merry Mesh Collection, along with some red ribbon from the brand new Simply Sheer in Christmas Candy. I also used some Rosebud Rumple Ribbon, and some Butterfly Blue Rumple Ribbon.

I tucked in some sparkly details and attached a vintage Christmas ornament to finish it off.

For the next two votives, I simply attached some tinsel to the back of the scallop and some silver glittered beads to the bottom.
