Hey there Crafters!
Lovebug Creations has been working on a super secret new line of ribbon and all week we’ve been giving sneak peeks of these gorgeous new patterns and colors. Tomorrow, Friday July 12, we’re having a hop to show off more amazing projects made from this fun and wild ribbon and you’ll be able to order some for yourself.

And now for my project featuring Lovebug Creations Fun Footz Ribbon.

I created some whimsical pinwheels to play with this summer.  How adorable is this ribbon from Lovebug Creations?

I love pink and yellow together and love how well this ribbon collection coordinates perfectly with the paper from Heidi Swapp!

The paper is Sugar Chic from Heidi Swapp, layered with some paper doilies and cut with my Martha Stewart Scallop Rotary Cutter Blade.

I painted three skewers white and then dusted them with some sparkly glitter and added some glitter to accent the pinwheels as well.

I’m bow-tying challenged so I watched a tutorial online about how to tie a bow using a special bow maker.

I don’t have a bow maker yet, so I used a fork (I’m versatile like Ariel, the Little Mermaid!) and I’m so happy that I can finally make bows that are even on both sides!

And who wouldn’t be on cloud 9 with beautiful ribbons from Lovebug Creations to play with? Each of the Creative Team members received a special package of ribbons in never-before-released colors and let me just say that I’m thrilled! The Rumple Ribbon “Pink Clouds” assortment is full of sweet colors that made me think of the rosy hues of cotton candy, pink pearls and a tropical coral reef.

I created some fun toppers for vintage-style paper straws. These would be perfect to accent your drinks at a springtime garden party. They were easy and fun to make and the Lovebug Creations Rumple Ribbons add the perfect pop of color and whimsy!
